Scrap Attack is a VR wave shooter in which you must defend powerful alien crystals from wave after wave of hungry robots. You'll be armed with a range of powerful weaponry and face everything from exploding robots to flying units that launch clusters of missiles at you.

Fast zapping action

Scrap Attack fits well within the existing genre of VR wave shooters. The early levels are simple fun as you zap oncoming robots. Gradually you gain access to more and more weapons but are also pitted against more and more enemies. The virtual environments are well-designed, with the dark underground sets relieved by colorful plants and crystals. The enemy designs are simple, but there are enough of them that you need to vary your tactics a little each time a new one turns up.

Colorful wave shooter fun

If you like VR wave shooters, Scrap Attack is well worth investigating. It combines fast-paced gameplay, exciting visuals and enough variety of weapons, enemies, and power-ups to keep it fresh for longer. The lack of different arena settings diminishes its replay value somewhat, but it's still fun to pick up the laser guns and while away some time blasting robots.
